Step back into the 1800s at the Founders' Day Festival. This free event will have historical artisans such as blacksmiths, potters, weavers, cooks, musicians, and more. There will be hands-on activities and games from the 19th century as well as hand-made items for sale. Tours of the historic Man House Museum will be available.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 4 at the Man House Museum, the historic home of one of Mansfield's founding fathers, Ralph Man. Food trucks will be onsite for those who have worked up an appetite learning about what life in Mansfield was like in the 1800s.
Shuttle service is available from other lots in Downtown Mansfield. The shuttle will pick up at the Walnut St., Pond Branch North, and Pond Branch South parking lots.
