Saturday, December 1 - Hometown Holidays Festival 5:00pm to 9:00pm
Join us for this annual city tradition, a FREE fun-filled family festival to celebrate the kickoff of December holidays, complete with ice sledding, bounce houses, food, petting zoo, music and Santa. We'll light the City Hall Christmas tree and then enjoy a stunning fireworks show. There will also be a selection of vendors selling unique gifts.
Saturday, December 2 - FA LALALA 5K 8:00am
The Mansfield Kiwanis FA LALALA 5k is an annual fun run/walk held the first weekend of December during the City of Mansfield's Hometown Holiday festivities. Click HERE to register for all the event info and to register for the race.
Saturday, December 2 - Annie Jr. the Musical 12:00pm
Get your seats early for the Hometown Holidays Parade and enjoy a FREE performance of Annie Jr. right in the middle of Main Street in front of the Farr Best Theater. The talented performers from Music Place Mansfield will give parade viewers an exclusive show starting right at noon. Saturday, December 2 - Hometown Holidays Parade 2:00pm
Join us as we honor our Hometown Heroes in our 2017 Hometown Holidays Parade. The events begin promptly at 2:00pm, and will loop Historic Downtown Mansfield. The parade is free to attend. Saturday, December 2 - Amos Lee in Concert 8:00pm
Singer/songwriter Amos Lee is making a stop in Mansfield during his national solo tour for a performance at the MISD Center for the Performing Arts. Lee's concert will feature MISD high school show choirs as the opening act. All proceeds will benefit the MISD Center Arts Programs, which brings in arts performances and cultural events to the students of MISD and the community. The incredible night of music will include songs from Lee's self-produced new album, SPIRIT. Click HERE to purchase tickets.
Sunday, December 3 - Holiday Tour of Homes 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Tour beautifully decorated homes to get into the Christmas spirit with Mansfield Women's Club. Cost for the tour is $25, and proceeds go towards the health, welfare & education of women and children in the Mansfield area. Click HERE for more information and where to buy tickets.
Sunday, December 3 - Mansfield Wind Symphony 7:00pm

Friday, December 8 - The Classic Swing Band with Eddie Irving 8:00pm
Presented by Downtown Mansfield, Inc., The Classic Swing Band with Eddie Irving will perform a concert at the Farr Best Theater. For over 10 years, Eddie Irving and The Classic Swing Band have offered some of the smoothest sound for a wide variety of events. Along with the multi-horn "chops" of Tom Lepper and the keyboard talent of Randy Willis, Eddie and the band will give a lively performance of the popular ballads and catchy swing tunes. Join us for a nature-themed painting class at Oliver Nature Park. An artist will guide you step-by-step as you create your masterpiece of a Blue Jay. Plants and animals that are not native to an area can spell trouble for the ecosystem. What are some invasive species in the DFW area, and what damage can they cause? Join a naturalist at Oliver Nature Park to learn what you can do to keep Mansfield safe from the species invasion. This program is geared toward adults, and registration is required. With lively hand-crafted marionette puppets, the Dallas Puppet Theater will be sure to throw a fun, family-friendly show at the Farr Best Theater. The Holiday on Strings show will introduce you with some special guests that are sure to get you ready for the holiday season!
Thursday, December 21 - Third Thursday: Historic Christmas 5:00pm
It all happens 5:00pm - 8:00pm in historic downown as local businesses and merchants extend their hours - offering specials at shops and restaurants, food trucks, vendors, and more!. Stop by the Farr Best Theater to hear a holiday percussion concert presented by Apex Percussion Studio at 5:00pm, then stay and watch the Christmas classic movie, It's a Wonderful Life starting at 5:45pm. Come celebrate the season at the Farr Best Theater for a movie showing of The Santa Clause hosted by the Mansfield Activities Center. Doors open at 6:00pm, so get there early for a good seat! Tickets sold at the door, and concessions will be available for purchase.
