insurance artsEducation Seminar: Liability & Insurance for Visual and Performing Artists

November 15 (6:00 pm)
Farr Best Theater (109 N. Main St.)

What happens if a storm hits while you’re selling your art at a festival and your work gets damaged? What if you drop your instrument while moving it for a gig? What if you break your leg while dancing a recital? And if that instrument you dropped fell on someone’s foot and broke it – what then? Or you damage something while setting up your art display at the festival? Representatives from local independent insurance agency, McKnight Insurance, will be on hand to discuss a variety of insurance options different types of visual and performing artists may need, where to find coverage, and what to expect in terms of pricing.
Arts Commission members get in for FREE. Registration is $10 for all others.
