The Aiming Up Theater Company presents SWEAT by Lynn Nottage, February 4-6 at the Farr Best Theater
Winner of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize, SWEAT tells the story of a group of friends who have spent their lives sharing drinks, secrets, and laughs while working together on the factory floor. But when layoffs and picket lines begin to chip away at their trust, the friends find themselves pitted against each other in a heart-wrenching fight to stay afloat. Shows are at 7:30 pm Friday and Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students and seniors.

modern millieLake Ridge Theatre presents "Thoroughly Modern Millie"

Join the cast of Lake Ridge High School Theatre as they travel back in time to the roaring 20's with the musical romantic comedy Thoroughly Modern Millie.
The dance-filled musical will be presented by our students on Feb. 4-5, 2022 at 7 p.m. nightly at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts. In addition to the 7 p.m. showings, a matinee performance will be held on Feb. 5 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Members of the International Thespian Society will receive complimentary admission. All tickets can be purchased at the door.

Pianist Eldred Marshall will perform an evening of works centered on Negro folksong, Negro Spirituals and virtuoso showmanship. The featured composers are Florence Price, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and Ludwig van Beethoven. Tickets are $25 for Adults, $22 for Students and Seniors. Ticket price listed above includes a premium concession (snack and drink) to enjoy during the show. All processing fees and sales tax are also included so there are no hidden fees.
