Join us for History Talks: Fact Checking for Fictional Novels at the Man House Museum. As part of Historic Preservation Month, D. Preston Davidson, author of the Nahum Putney books, will be speaking about the research he's done into local history for his novels. D. Preston Davidson is a retired Deputy U.S. Marshal who spent 31 years in law enforcement and has hunted fugitives across the United States. This event is free and while no registration is required, seats will be first come, first served. This workshop will introduce participants to the process of felting, and we will use that skill to make a model of the brain. Our workshop host, Heidi Tournoux-Hanshaw is a board certified, registered art therapist, and a licensed professional counselor supervisor, and this workshop qualifies for 3 Texas LPC CEs.
