With the incredible support of her community, her students, and professional colleagues – such as Alicia Ingersoll– The Troupe Theatre was brought to life.

Join us as we kick off the long Independence Day Weekend with our first ever Fireworks Frenzy After Hours Event! Come cool off and enjoy all of your favorite rides and attractions from 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. At 5 p.m., the fun continues as the anticipation for fireworks builds with a DJ dance party, Foam cannon fun and themed specialty Independence Day beverages and food items. All of the rides and attractions will be open until sunset. Once the sun goes down, the sky will light-up with fireworks kicking off our favorite celebration of America's independence. It's the biggest fireworks show in Mansfield's history as the night sky illuminates with the Mansfield Rocks Fireworks Spectacular. The launch site remains the same from previous years, from behind the Mansfield Sports Park (formerly Big League Dreams) and everyone is invited to watch the show for free from the surrounding area. Please note due to the existing condition of the Mansfield Sports Park (formerly Big League Dreams), and the City’s ongoing facility assessment there will be no watch event there for 2024.

Grab your whiffle bat, step up to the plate and launch one out of the park at our Mansfield Home Run Derby. Registration is $20 and comes with a free t-shirt and other goodies, plus prizes for the winners of each age group.
All proceeds go to the Team Hilliard Foundation, supporting research and awareness for ALS. The charity was founded by Sam Hilliard, a Mansfield High graduate and Major League ballplayer who tragically lost his father to the disease.

All travelers who met the 100 Hours of PLAY goal will receive their prizes as they move through customs at this event, so be sure to register early, log your hours, and attend this special day!
