Texas Health Mansfield Stadium and Shell Energy Stadium to Host 2026 Concacaf W Championship

Miami, FL (Tuesday, April 21, 2026) – Concacaf has announced that the 2026 Concacaf W Championship will take place from November 27 to December 5 and will be hosted at Texas Health Mansfield Stadium in Mansfield, Texas, and Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas. The tournament’s Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Play-In matches will be held in Mansfield, while Houston will host the Third-Place Match and Final. 

The 2026 Concacaf W Championship will serve as the Confederation’s qualifier for both the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027 and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

The tournament will feature the region’s top eight women’s national teams, including the United States and Canada and six additional teams that have qualified through the 2025/2026 Concacaf W Qualifiers: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, and Panama.

Texas Health Mansfield Stadium is a new multi-use soccer stadium complex scheduled to open this summer, serving as the home to North Texas SC, the MLS NEXT Pro affiliate of FC Dallas. The venue will also host the Czech Republic as a FIFA World Cup 2026 Team Base Camp Training Site this summer.

Following the Quarterfinals, the four winners will advance to the Semifinals and automatically qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027. The four losing teams will move into the Play-In round, where they will compete for Concacaf’s two slots in the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 Play-Off Tournament. 

At the conclusion of the event, the two Concacaf W Championship finalists and the third-place finisher will also secure a berth in the 2028 LA Olympic Games Women’s Football Tournament. Should the United States—already qualified as host of the Olympics, as confirmed by FIFA and the IOC—finish as one of the top three teams, Concacaf's final Olympic berth will be awarded to the fourth-place finisher.
