Stargazing With Astronomers

Oliver Nature Park (1650 Matlock Rd.)

Explore the night skies with astronomers from the Fort Worth Astronomical Society. Examine constellations and planets with high-powered telescopes at this FREE event on January 24, 2024 from 6-8pm. Free event but preregistration is strongly encouraged. Overflow parking will be located at 1164 Matlock Road. Shuttles to the park will run from 5:30 -8:30 pm.

Will Baffle's Show of Wonders

Lone Star D2 College Classic

January 30-February 2
Fields at Station 63 (500 Heritage Pkwy S.)

The Lone Star D2 College Classic will consist of some of the top NCAA D2 softball schools in the Midwest across this 3-day tournament. Daily passes are $15 for Adults and $10 for Students & Seniors and weekend passes are $25 for Adults and $15 for Students & Seniors. Players in team gear receive free admission with admission of paid adult!

Furniture Restoration Workshop

Work with museum experts to learn how to how to date antique furniture at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Man House Museum (604 W. Broad St.). Opening the concert, the overture to Rossini's Barber of Seville, an opera that Rossini wrote in less than 3 weeks! Then, MansPhil join forces with the Timberview High School choirs and the beautiful voice of Dameron Growe for Nathaniel Dett's Chariot Jubilee. Last but not certainly not least, we'll end the evening with the Beethoven Violin Concerto performed by Fort Worth Symphony violinist Albert Yamamoto.

The Fleetwood Project presents "May We All"

From Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line - in partnership with Lively McCabe Entertainment & BMG, "May We All" is a musical about the spirit and community at the core of country music. "May We All" features hit songs from both modern and classic country stars, paying tribute to the legends and trailblazers that made the music what it is today.

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon with friends, complete with complimentary snacks and drinks. Ages 21+. All supplies provided, no experience needed.
